Become A Tutor

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with HighSight, helping our scholars thrive in high school, get accepted to selective colleges, and take on meaningful internships and employment.

TUTORING

We hope that a tutor can join us for at least one session a week, with the expectation that they will be able to tutor multiple times each month.


More details about this rewarding opportunity: 

  • Sessions are from  4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings during the academic year
  •  Tutors are invited to join us for an hour or more during a session 
  • We are located at St. Michael's Parish Hall in Old Town (1711 North Cleveland Avenue), a few short blocks from CTA Brown, Purple, and Red line stops 
  • Free off-street parking is also available in the parking lot adjacent to the building 
  • We need tutors in all subject areas, including: 
    • ALGEBRA
    • GEOMETRY
    • PRE-CALCULUS/CALCULUS
    • BIOLOGY
    • CHEMISTRY
    • HISTORY
    • ENGLISH
    • SPANISH 
    • and More!
