High School Scholarships
HighSight provides partial four-year scholarships for eighth-grade students to attend private high schools in Chicago. Families must apply and receive financial aid from the high school, in addition to paying a portion of the tuition themselves. Currently, HighSight partners with 14 high schools in Chicago.

HighSight will receive roughly 300 applications from Chicago 8th graders this year. One hundred of those students will be invited to an interview in the spring of 2025, and half of those students will be offered a spot in HighSight's class of 2029.

If you are interested in applying to become a four-year HighSight scholar, please read the information below.

Four-Year Program Application Calendar
- December: Private high school entrance exam
- February: HighSight applications are available
- March: Applications are due
- April: Applications will be reviewed by the selection committee
- May: Student and parent interviews will be held with qualifying candidates
- June: Scholar selection will be announced
- July: Five-week mandatory summer program is held
Four-Year Program Eligibility Requirements
- Currently be in the 8th grade and live in Chicago
- Live in a household that exhibits financial need - income below $60,000
- Take the entrance exam and be accepted to the private high school of your choice
- Apply for financial aid from the private high school once accepted
- Attend HighSight's five-week Freshman Summer Program starting in July
- Participate in HighSight's Academic Enrichment/Tutoring Sessions two days a week during the school year
- Participate in HighSight's summer programs throughout high school and be willing to enroll in the best college possible
- Submit a scholarship application and supporting information
